Dear Members,

WCBA is committed to doing our very best to service our beekeepers and to ensure the health  and wellness of our members.

As we monitor how the coronavirus (COVID-19) affects us all, We have decided to cancel all activities through the month of April.  This includes Bee School and our April 3rd meeting.  If you are enrolled in Bee School, the Bee School directors will be in touch with you shortly.

Thank you all for your continued support.  Our hearts to our to anyone affected by COVID-19.  We want to protect the health and safety of all of our members and their families.    We will continue to update you on activities as new developments arise.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS DUE DECEMBER 31ST

Membership has its benefits! Quarterly newsletter, discount on beekeeping trade journals (Bee Culture and American Bee Journal), free admittance to the WCBA indoor meetings which include our March and October speaker meetings, discount honey jar ordering, club honey extractor program and much, much more. Don't delay, renew today!

Membership renewals are due by December 31st every year. Annual Dues are $15. You can also renew by mail or at any of the club meetings. The membership renewal form can be found here.

DOES YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS NEED UPDATING?

If your membership is up to date but you are not receiving club emails (quarterly newsletter & important announcements), please contact our membership director Angela Hogue to update your email in our records.


HIVE INSPECTIONS ARE AVAILABLE

The MA apiary inspection service is now available. If you are interested in having an inspector check your hive, or any hive that died, please submit an online inspection request here:

The Worcester County Beekeepers Association has been a leader in beekeeping education for over one hundred years. We are the oldest county beekeeping organization in the United States, with members from all over New England. Through our beekeeping school, quarterly newsletters, monthly meetings and outreach activities, the club provides ongoing education for our members.
